From Dallas, Texas, founded in 2006, ModEast is a label that introduced classic and modestly designed clothes made with Cotton, Silk, and chiffon. 

The artwork is hand-painted and calligraphy-inspired, and each piece's beautiful tie-dye color combinations and unique style excites the mood to dress up.

The ARTIST 

Nikhat Izhar Qureshi 

Painting inspirations and reflections, Nikhat takes her creativity as a means to express her connection to a soulful world. A self-taught, award-winning visual Artist & Calligrapher, her passion for calligraphy comes from the religious writings and poetic texts composed artistically.

Since the launch of my clothing label MOD-EAST in 2006, I have been wanting to get back to offering something more with my artwork than just a wall art on canvas. I'm thrilled to share with you my latest collection on VIDA! Something I have been looking to do for quite some time, now I am happy about this collaboration. My official signature collection has gone public, and I am looking forward to bringing more and do more with my art and creativity. Nothing is like combining your passion for art and philanthropy with a source of light, power, and hope that would make a positive difference in the lives of many. This collection represents some of my best artwork from recent years and is very authentic to who I am as an artist. I'm proud today to share this work with you.
